Colorful Carrots
I created these carrots around the time I drew the peppers in the last post. In both cases I was inspired to draw produce that comes in an array of colors. I also had fun with trying out different colors and marks for each of the carrot greens on top!
Next week I'll show how I chose one of these drawings (the peppers or the carrots) to elaborate further...
This drawing uses artist quality colored pencils, markers and micron pens on Strathmore paper.

Colorful Bell Peppers
One experience I've been enjoying recently is playing with different media and styles. For this drawing of peppers I experimented with different combinations of colored pencils and artist ink markers. I wanted to draw vegetables in a variety of colors and this subject satisfied that desire!
This drawing is 9x12" on Strathmore artist paper.
